Les Belles Saveurs opens its doors with its first shop in The Hague.

On 15-02-2022, Les Belles Saveurs will open the doors of its French delicatessen shop in The Hague, launched with the idea of a “Épicerie Fine Française”. Les Belles Saveurs thus brings a unique and wide variety of 100% French quality products to the Dutch market.

In the 30m2 shop at Breitnerlaan 14 in the Benoordenhout district of The Hague, Les Belles Saveurs offers a wide range of 100% French products. Exactly 3 months after the launch of the webshop, in addition to personal customer contact and advice in a French ambience, fresh products such as butter, cheeses, yoghurts and meat products will also be offered in the shop.

By offering unexpected and unknown products alongside classic, well-known and essential items, with quality always being paramount, Les Belles Saveurs offers a unique assortment in the Netherlands. The products offered cover all of France, with a large number of regions and departments in all corners of the country.

“I am extremely happy to be able to realise a dream and a vision, and to be able to offer the quality products rooted in French culinary culture in The Hague,” says owner Estelle Cohen Solal. “I look forward to advising visitors on our products and hope to pass on some knowledge of the French “Savoir Faire”, the knowledge of French culinary culture.”

The assortment offers the French gastronomic and agricultural heritage, famous for its products, its style and its art of living. These products come from family businesses, artisans and small producers with ancestral know-how, where responsible cultivation and production are practised, with organic certification where possible. In France, these products can often be found in renowned department stores such as Galerie La Fayette, La Grande Épicerie de Paris & luxury hotels.

The products come from all over France. Sweet and savoury products, meal and basic products, wines and champagnes, fruit juices and fresh products together form an assortment that is regularly supplemented, with an eye for new producers and surprising new products that constitute the richness of French gastronomy and will surprise most gourmets.

Les Belles Saveurs is the company around initiator Estelle Cohen Solal, supported by her partner Rob Cornegge. Originally from Paris, Estelle decided to end her career as an IT project manager and invest in her entrepreneurial desire and in the desire for a profession with more and especially personal customer contact.

Since 2019 in The Hague, the lack of an extensive range of French products became increasingly clear to her. This experience, combined with a passion for gastronomy and regional and even local French products, led to the launch of the Les Belles Saveurs concept. This concept aligns with her ambition to offer a unique selection of quality products from the heritage of French gastronomy, to share this know-how and to bring joy to customers.
