The term "curry", first used in the 16th century by British colonists, is an anglicism of the Indian word "kari", which refers to sauce dishes from Indian cuisine.

There are different types of curry, which vary by region, and their color depends on their composition.
Our Madras curry consists of turmeric, coriander, cumin, pepper, ginger, cinnamon, and cloves. It is this blend that gives it its golden-yellow color.

What recipes use curry?
Mixed with coconut milk, curry cooks divinely well with chicken, white fish, shrimp, or vegetables, legumes, and tubers, such as zucchini, chickpeas, potatoes, or carrots.
For the adventurous, curry can be used on fruit-based desserts: tarts, salads, and crumbles, or sprinkled directly on apples, pears, and bananas.

The highlight of curry? Its ease of use: sprinkle it into your preparation, preferably at the beginning of cooking, and you're done! Its sweet and spicy aroma does the rest.

Our Madras Curry is certified organic.
It is offered in a 50 g glass bottle. Store it in a dry and cool place, away from light. Madras Curry does not have an expiration date, but we recommend using it within 48 months to preserve the full intensity of its aromas.
