Smoked Cod Liver

Description

Our cod, caught in the cold waters of Iceland, is fresh and hand-processed. With the utmost respect for tradition, the liver is carefully removed and then smoked over beech wood. The liver is then carefully packed whole, without added flavourings or oil: the cod liver oil naturally coats the fish during ripening. La Perle des Dieux recommends enjoying this tender and flavourful liver on a slice of toasted traditional bread, enhanced with a squeeze of lemon and a pinch of Noirmoutier sea salt.
